Have you ever watched an NFL game and thought you could do a better job than the people running the teams? Ever wondered what it would be like to be in charge of a team and have star athletes working for you? Fantasy Football allows you to do just that. You follow your own Fantasy "team" of pro athletes, and you benefit (or suffer) from their actual game day performance. Fantasy Football is the simplest way to enjoy the NFL on a whole new, interactive level. The best part is how easy it is to start playing today!

In Fantasy Football, you can be as much the beneficiary of an athlete's performance as the athlete himself! Your team of actual NFL players earns you points based on their performance. Your points can earn you a win, which could ultimately catapult your team into the playoffs. If you don't feel an athlete is earning enough points, you can decide whether or not to take him out of your starting lineup, drop him from your team for a better free agent or trade to another team.

The fun of Fantasy Football is in assembling your team - for instance, stars such as Andrew Luck of the Colts, Calvin Johnson of the Lion’s and Eddie Lacy of the Packers - and following your team's performance on a daily or weekly basis. Even though these players are on different NFL teams, as far as you're concerned they're on the same team: YOUR TEAM! Your players' performance on the field determines your team's success. Eventually, when you watch the games on television, you'll have one rooting interest: your Fantasy team. Sound interesting? Great, because getting started is easy! The first thing you need to do is contact our staff, and get your spot reserved in the Jefferson City Fantasy Football League for the upcoming season.
The Jefferson City Fantasy Football League is structured in a head to head format. Each week coaches submit starters from players on their rosters and their team plays another team in the league. The games in the NFL are played, stats are gathered for the fantasy players and once the smoke clears, there is a winner determined. After 13 Weeks, its playoff time in which the top 8 ranked teams advance. The playoffs are structured just as they are in the NFL. Highest ranked teams play the lowest ranked teams. When you lose, you’re out. The final two teams play in the Fantasy Bowl, with the winner taking home the title of Jefferson City Fantasy Football League Champion, a kick ass trophy, 40% of the money collected in the pot and free entry for the next season. The Fantasy Bowl runner-up receives 10% of the pot. The rest of the pot money is distributed in several different categories, such as highest scoring individual for the season, most defensive points scored for the season. ect.
